“360° Competency Assessment System” is one of our significant tools supporting development of individual and corporate performance. The system targets creating an assessment and feedback culture. It is a “living” system that has been used since the year 2000 and that is being developed as it is used. While specified competencies are inquired at the stage of employment, Competency Assessment results are used at the stages of Performance Management, Training&Development Management, Career Planning, Backup Planning.

The competencies of the employees are assessed using 360°approach by obtaining the opinions of superiors, inferiors, horizontal stakeholders and the person himself. The competency targets are provided for actualization of the business objectives. The difference between the competencies needed for carrying out the work and the competencies that are possessed by the person is analyzed and the areas of development are established.

The training needs are determined at the end of performance and 360° competency assessment processes.

HAY Work Assessment System is applied at Bor Gümrük. Through work assessment system that is a methodology at world standards, the value of the work performed created for the organization is determined and the total revenue package of the employees is prepared.

As Bor Gümrük, we want to meet with the students thanks to the internship opportunities;

  • Long-Term Intern: The university students work in the units relevant to the departments where they receive education for 6 months on a contract basis. In addition to their own duties and responsibilities, they are placed actively in the projects as well.
  • On the other hand, the high school students may do internship in the units relevant to the departments where they receive education within the scope of the law numbered 3308.
  • Short-Term Interns: We accept the short-term interns during summer. The students with mandatory internships ordered by their schools are given priority.

Students doing internships are paid wages. All our interns use the same dining and shuttle facilities as our personnel. Our long-term interns participate in basic internships and are placed actively in social responsibility projects.
