The performance assessment meetings in which the business objectives and personal competency objectives are taken into consideration are held 2 times in a year every year on a regular basis at Bor Gümrük and performances of the employees are assessed at the end of the year and recorded in the system. With the said assessments, the specified duties, authorities, responsibilities and efforts and success in actualizing the targets belonging to the employee are assessed.
“360° Competency Assessment System” is one of our significant tools supporting development of individual and corporate performance. The system targets creating an assessment and feedback culture. It is a “living” system that has been used since the year 2000 and that is being developed as it is used. While specified competencies are inquired at the stage of employment, Competency Assessment results are used at the stages of Performance Management, Training&Development Management, Career Planning, Backup Planning.
The competencies of the employees are assessed using 360°approach by obtaining the opinions of superiors, inferiors, horizontal stakeholders and the person himself. The competency targets are provided for actualization of the business objectives. The difference between the competencies needed for carrying out the work and the competencies that are possessed by the person is analyzed and the areas of development are established.
